Moixa Energy Holdings has formed a subsidiary Moixa Energy Ltd to undertake R&D and commercialize next generation rechargeable battery technology.
In September 2006, we launched USBCELL, a new category of rechargeable batteries available in standard format cells, that can be simply recharged by plugging into a USB port without the need for a separate charger or cable. Our proprietary technology includes a built in charger and connector within standard format cells such as AA.
The research is backed by a £152k London Development Agency Grant for Research and Development.
USBCELLs offer significant portability and conveinience to end uses, offering a more economic and environmentally friendly battery technology.
